Tensegrity headphones by TEAGUE

TEAGUE was founded by industrial design pioneer Walter Dorwin Teague and is one of the most established design firms in the world. Their latest creation is the 20/20 headphones which use a tensegrity system for the structural requirements of the headphone-adjustment mechanisms.




TEAGUE headphones are a stylish yet very suitable tensegrity application. The following video provides a nice description of the system with expressions such as "rigid yet flexible" and "forces in harmony":
